Many of us talk about love while having little clue of what love really is.
We say we love a person but then we say we love a thing or a food or whatever. Which is it? Love or like.
We have a penchant for superlatives when it comes to expressing our emotions to the point it all kind of becomes meaningless.
This should NEVER happen with love. Unfortunately it has and does.
You say you love but continue to look at others with one eye while looking at the one you SAY you love with the other.
That might be something, but love it is NOT.
LOVE IS:
Commitment, Dedication, LOYALTY. Unrelenting pursuit of building and maintaining a life of togetherness and mutual caring.
If you build a relationship on a firm foundation based on mutual respect, then you have a chance. If not, you are more than likely doomed to failure.
Choosing a mate is one of the most significant decisions human beings will ever make. To not give it the respect it deserves begs the sincerity of the people engaging in it.
LOVE WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT.
THEN YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO HAVE IT RETURNED IN KIND.
